My Process + Offerings
If you are considering hiring an interior designer, it is always good to have an understanding of how the process works. First and foremost, I consider myself a guide and collaborator. My goal is to create spaces for real life and that reflect my client, all while maintaining strong communication and collaboration! Here is my process:
Initial Consult
We will meet to discuss your project. During this meeting, I will gather information about the space, your vision, your likes/dislikes and any other pertinent information to make your investment a success. Be sure to provide me with any inspiration images- anything that helps illustrate your vision.
Estimate + Retainer
Within 24-48 hours of our initial meeting, I will provide a scope and design fee estimate. Once a deposit is made, I will get to work!
Site Measure + Photos
A site visit will take place, in which I will measure, take photos and spend time in the space.
Initial Design
The initial concept will be created. This will include anything in the scope: space planning, materials, finishes, color concepts, furnishings, lighting and procurement. The deliverable will be both provided digitally + a printed design document.
Presentation
We will meet to go over the initial design! In addition to the printed design document, you can expect to see samples of paint, fabric, accessories and anything that will help illustrate the initial design. The presentation is interactive and your feedback is crucial for edits! The final payment is due upon delivery of the presentation document.
Edits + Implement
We will begin implementing the plan! Some clients prefer a DIY method- they will do the painting, ordering and install themselves, while others prefer a full service approach. This will be decided in the initial consultation phase.
Final Install + Photos
Once the overall design is implemented, I will complete a final styling of the space. This may include a staging with my own accessories (which are available for purchase) to help illustrate the intended design. At that time, I will take photos of the space.
Color Consulting
Guidance for paint palettes for one room, entire house or commercial space.
Residential Guide
If you are a DIYer, enjoy home improvement or simply want to preserve budget, this will be for you. Using my plan and input, you will implement the design.
Residential Full Service
After we work together on the selections, I will have every aspect of the design implementation carried out.
Commercial + Retail
This process is similar to residential, however, we will create a space to help your space reach full potential that meets your budget, highlights your business offerings and supports the user experience.
Holiday + Special Events
Intended for both residential and commercial/retail. We will create a beautiful space for your holiday or special event. This includes procurement of materials and installation.
Style + Accessorize
If you already have colors and furnishings you are happy with, but aren’t sure how to pull it all together- I can help! By spending a few hours in your space, I will both introduce new accessories and reuse what you already have.
